The Arnica plant is precious for treating minor injuries from holidays or sports. Pure or in synergy with calophyllum, calendula, or hazelnut, it is ideal for those who love to be active.
The yield of arnica flowers is low. This explains its preciousness, but also its unparalleled activity for joint and muscle problems, or for inflammation.
Indication
Pranarôm arnica plant contains:
- complex fatty acids, depending on the oil used for maceration.
- traces of arnica essential oil
- phytosterols and sesquiterpene lactones, known for their anti-inflammatory properties.
Usage
Cosmetic use: Suitable for skin massage, pure or as a carrier for essential oils (helichrysum, peppermint, noble laurel). Used for joint stiffness, sore muscles
Tip
Sunburn: After cooling the affected area (cold damp compress, water…), apply a few drops of arnica oil macerate generously but without massaging too hard. Repeat this action 6 times during the following 24 hours.
